COVID-19 Statement

April 2, 2020

Dear Church Family,

As your Pastor, my heart is overwhelmed by your amazing faithfulness as you have turned out in large numbers to view or participate in our online, live streaming, interactive Bible Studies. If you have not yet joined us and would like to, or you have not been able to figure out how to participate, please do not hesitate to call the Church Office or one of our Pastors for assistance. I would also like to thank you for your generous support of our ministry by bringing or sending in your tithes and offerings, or giving through our new online giving opportunity.

Our weekly Sunday morning sermons are available on our website each Sunday, with sermon notes available in our online bulletin. This week we begin live streaming our Revelation Celebration Service at 6 PM and our Wednesday Bible Study at10 AM. Visit our website and click on the blue box in the middle of the page, titled “Streaming and Recorded Bible Studies,” to print materials and follow the link for the live stream. Or, join us via phone conferencing for theRevelation Celebration Service at 6 PM or the Wednesday Bible Study at 10 AM, 1:30, 3:30 and 6:30 PM. Our adult Sunday Bible Study classes continue each week via phone conferencing. Information is available on our website or on the TBCNet for you to be involved.

Let me encourage you to continue to be faithful to serve those in your neighborhood that are elderly, physically challenged, or socially alienated during this uncertain time.

Please let us know if there is a need that you have, or burden that you need prayer for. Our staff will do their best to assist in this difficult time. We are still here for you! Call the Church Office or one of our Pastors.

Meanwhile, we are closely monitoring the latest developments of the coronavirus and are constantly studying updates from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). We serve a mighty God who “has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). While we should not be driven by fear, we should be guided by wisdom and prudence.

We will adapt as we gather more information. God is good and He is sovereignly in control!

Jesus is Lord,

Greg Davidson

Senior Pastor
