Milton Steck, Senior Pastor
Milton has been the Pastor of Trinity Baptist Church of Vacaville since 1971. Prior to that, he was a Youth Pastor at First Baptist Church of Fairfield, California and other churches in Southern California.
After receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from California Baptist College (now University) he went on to receive a Master of Divinity Degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, CA.
He married Linda Shannon in 1964. They have two grown daughters, a son-in-law, and one grandson. All are serving the Lord at Trinity Baptist Church of Vacaville.
Milton enjoys antique cars and owns a 1930 Model A Ford. He also enjoys biking and mountain climbing.
Joe Cook, Associate Pastor of Music and Senior Adults
Pastor Joe, a native of Augusta, Georgia, came on staff at Trinity Baptist Church in October of 2007 after serving in a similar position at Country Oaks Baptist Church in Elk Grove, California for over six years. Over 30 years of ministry, Joe has also served churches in the areas of music, youth and senior adult ministries in Georgia, Kansas, Texas, South Carolina and New Mexico. Through the years he has also ministered through music in Florida, Alabama, North Carolina and Oklahoma.
In September of 1996 Joe married Angie Miller of Macon, Georgia. While they don’t have children of their own they are grateful to have twin God-sons, Jacob and Joshua, and numerous nieces, nephews and “adoptive” church children. Joe enjoys sightseeing and window shopping with Angie and occasionally has opportunity to dabble in the sporting hobbies of golf, tennis and bowling.
Joe's ministry passions are leading the church in worship and exhorting the church.
Troy Young, Associate Pastor of Youth and Family Ministries
Troy transitioned from engineering to youth ministry in 2003 when he joined the staff at Pole Line Road Baptist Church in Davis, CA while studying at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, California. Troy has been serving God at Trinity Baptist Church since 2008, shortly before he graduated from GGBTS with his MDiv.
Troy married his beautiful wife Tracy in 1997 before moving back to Australia where their four children were born; Ashley, Joshua, Jacob and Abigail (twins). The family returned to the United States when God called Troy into ministry.
Troy enjoys the outdoors including photography, traveling, camping, hiking, and the beach.
