Greg Davidson, Senior Pastor
After months of prayer, a nationwide search, and sorting through numerous resumes, the Pastor Search Team presented Greg Davidson to the Trinity Baptist Church family who then extended him a call in March 2014 to become only her 5th Senior Pastor.
Prior to coming to Trinity, Pastor Greg has served in the ministry for 40 years and has pastored churches in South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida.
Pastor Greg has a BS degree in history from Mobile Baptist University and a Ministry of Divinity degree from Mid American Baptist Seminary.
While it is a priority to spend time with Malone, his wife, and James, their 10 year old son, Pastor Greg also enjoys playing golf and basketball.
Milton Steck, Retired Senior Pastor
After 42 years of ministry at Trinity Baptist Church, Milton Steck has officially retired as of April 15, 2014.
Milton Steck became the Senior Pastor of Trinity Baptist Church of Vacaville since 1971. Prior to that, he was a Youth Pastor at First Baptist Church of Fairfield, California and other churches in Southern California.
After receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from California Baptist College (now University) he went on to receive a Master of Divinity Degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, CA.
He married Linda Shannon in 1964. They have two grown daughters, a son-in-law, and three grandsons. All are serving the Lord at Trinity Baptist Church of Vacaville.
Milton enjoys antique cars and owns a 1930 Model A Ford and also enjoys biking and mountain climbing.
Joe Cook, Associate Pastor of Music and Senior Adults
Joe, an Augusta, Georgia native, joined the Trinity Baptist Church staff in October of 2007 after serving at Country Oaks Baptist Church in Elk Grove, California for over six years. Over 30 years of ministry, Joe has also served churches in the areas of music, youth and senior adult ministries in Georgia, Kansas, Texas, South Carolina, New Mexico and California. Through the years he has also ministered through music in Florida, Alabama, North Carolina and Oklahoma.
In September of 1996 Joe married Angie Miller of Macon, Georgia. While they don’t have children of their own they are grateful to have twin God-sons, Jacob and Joshua, and numerous nieces, nephews and “adoptive” church children. Joe enjoys sightseeing and window shopping with Angie and occasionally has opportunity to dabble in the sporting hobbies of golf, tennis and bowling.
Leading the church in worship through music and exhorting fellow believers are Joe's ministry passions.
