 2015 LIVE NATIVITY Video

LIVE NATIVITY 2017 will be December 8-10 at 6:00 & 7:30 pm nightly.

As always, the LIVE NATIVITY is a FREE ADMISSION event! We hope you, your family and friends will make plans to attend the next presentation.

A Vacaville/Fairfield/Dixon area Christmas tradition, the LIVE NATIVITY Christmas story tells the good news of Emmanuel – God with us (Isaiah 7:14; Matt. 1:23).  This Christmas story, presented outdoors (weather permitting) or indoors (if it rains), features singers, actors, narrators, and animals, including sheep, “Pearl” the donkey and “Hump-free” the camel.

The LIVE NATIVITY, Trinity’s largest yearly outreach to the community attracting nearly 3,000 attendees each year, is traditionally introduced on a Sunday night at our annual “Christmas in September” gathering with rehearsals beginning shortly thereafter. The LIVE NATIVITY is presented two times nightly (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) the second full weekend of December. The story of the Nativity, the birth of Jesus Christ, is told using singers, actors, animals, music and theatrical lights. Since this is a huge undertaking a large number of the Trinity Baptist Church family pitches in to help with many other areas than those mentioned above, such as greeters/ushers, security, childcare (for children of volunteers), hospitality (serving free cookies and hot chocolate) and much more.

For information please contact the Church Office at 707-448-5430 or e-mail us at office@tbcvacaville.com.

Puppet & Drama Ministry

With the support of the Music Ministry, and under the spiritual and steady direction of Esther Brewer, the Puppet and Drama Team Ministry (made up of adults, teens, and children) provides ministry opportunities for children, teens, and adults throughout the year to children, teens and adults.

While some people think puppets are just “for children,” ask a puppet ministry leader, and they’ll tell you that puppets are for everyone. The Puppet Team has touched children and adults alike at yearly events like our Vacation Bible School and Harvest Party, and at Sunday night presentations.

Anyone who loves the creative art of acting can find a place of service through the Drama Team. The drama ministry has provided ministry through a number of dramas, vignettes, skits, and full-blown presentations, like the now annual “The Living Lord’s Supper,” which is presented on Palm Sunday, just before Easter.

For more information please contact the Church Office, Pastor Joe or Esther Brewer.

Children’s Choirs

Through a multifaceted approach of teaching, movement, and games, children have a great time learning music fundamentals, as well as, Bible truths and performance practice. The safety of our children is paramount thus our children’s choirs are led by competent directors and workers, who are screened by and trained through our children’s safety program. (Please feel free to contact our Children’s Coordinator, Jean Murphy for more details about the steps we take to keep our children safe.) Both of our children’s choirs participate in our worship services periodically throughout the year, present a music program in May, and the older choir (King’s Kids) choir participates in LIVE NATIVITY.
* Children’s Choirs meet most Sunday afternoons at 4:45 pm from mid-September to mid-December, with a Christmas break, and January to mid-May, with a break through the summer months. *
